Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.
The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced
The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.
This warrior group features Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
First, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.
The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the party reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:
- The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This leaves them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of Casimir.

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Strategists groups.
